Wonder Girls - "I Feel You"

In the beginning I was quite skeptical as I had seen the visuual teaser and thought "Oh, it's gonna be another hypersexualised music video" due to the fact the costume concept consited basically of a leotard/bathing suit until I saw  the actual music video teaser.

From the official teaser the Wonder Girls show a promising MV  that brings the funk into the later summer and my guess is that it will be quite a hit with  the older generation as it brings the nostaglic beats of the past.

The intro past the pants is quite old school itself and pleasing to the eye as we see retro instruments and strobe lights within a stage setting, this implies a great deal of effort was put into the song to balance the past with modern music and beats all welcoming to the ears, as there are no harsh beats or very loud music the song seems to build up into a calm toned voices. The choreography is not explicit unlike the costumes but I believe it is worn as part of the girl group "trend" ,but this time it actually fits the theme of the music video- definately a blast from the past. Rather than a summer advertisement campaign for the title 'The Sexiest Girl Group of 2015'. Movement is just enough to be confortablle and shows easy movement to the beat and casts the  80s feel (please correct me) to the stage: still remains concise as some movements are sharper than the others but, the softness brings more attention to the music gathering greater appreciation to the song  than flashy choreography; which sometimes cause the words to blur out till the  viewers attention grows completely to the dancers. This is well appreciated and would be a nice change for stage performances. It looks fun and carefree and welcomes the natural sway of movement making it even more fun to listen to.

On the negative side, although its not too bad I am not to fussed on the intro [shorts being un-zipped] but, the music later over comes this small discomfort.

The lyrics are actually not bad and suit the song well and portray the  growing love for a partner/ one-sided love to the point they are falling hard and they can never forget their touch (ghostly presence) which is not an uncommon occurence so a lot of listeners will be able to connect with the song.

So, overall I guess you could say I would recommend this song and MV to a lot of people, as it's more unique and has a greater music identitiy than most songs in the charts at this given time.
