The Surplus Mermaid is a romantic comedy of a mermaid who falls in love with the world of the land. In this remarkable drama, Kim Ha-Ni meets the stunning and successful Kwon Shi-Kyung and instantly falls in love after a quite prolonged and passionate kiss. Her desire to be with him was the number one thing that had to happen.  However, the chef, Kwon Shi-Kyung, was a very difficult person to get to. Making the requirements to be human, she finally found people who can help her. Unlike the fairytale The Little Mermaid, her arrival was anything but sophisticated. She unwillingly meets Lee Hyun-Myung, who seems to be ruined by her existence, and befriends him and all of his friends. The adventure begins as she tries to find her one and only Shi-Kyung with the help of her new friends. I personally enjoyed watching it and I would do it again and again if I could. Unfortunately, there are only 10 episodes. Even though there is a lack of the amount of episodes that were created, I still feel as if the characters and the plot of the story were well thought out and perfect. I give this drama an 8 out of a 10. Seriously though, watch it. You will inevitably fall in love with the characters and the story. For those who watched, tell me your thoughts on the drama.
